MICROSHADING
Everyday perfection without the everyday effort
WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is a permanent cosmetic procedure done by hand using a blade-like tool that places pigment into the dermal layer of the skin forming crisp,
natural looking, hair-like strokes.
The needles used in microblading reach only the superficial layers of the skin, which is what makes the method semi-permanent (versus permanent, like traditional cosmetic tattoos).
Microblading is used to fill in sparse areas of the brow, creating a full,
beautiful brow.
Microblading is best for anyone who wants a natural look that mimics the
look of real hair.
FOLLOW-UP TOUCH-UP

You will need a touch-up, which is included in the original price, within 90 days of your initial treatment to ensure perfect results. We use this session to make any small adjustments, if needed.
HOW LONG DOES MICROBLADING LAST?

Results last from 12 to 18 months, depending on a variety of factors, such as color of pigment, skin type, and lifestyle. Lighter colors fade faster than darker colors and the color will fade faster on oily skin than on drier skin types.

WHAT IS MICROSHADING?

Microshading is a permanent cosmetic technique using an electric hand tool, which creates a soft, powdered effect that resembles eyebrow powder. Instead of the hair stroke, typical with microblading, microshading employs a method that uses repetitive dots of pigment.
Microshading is best for anyone who wants brows to look more filled in.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Immediately following your treatment, the treated area will appear to be darker, bolder in color and more sharply defined. This can last up to a week after the treatment while the initial healing process takes place. The treated area may feel tender, but there should be minimal redness or discomfort.
During the healing period, there may be scabbing, flaking or peeling of the skin.
If this happens, DO NOT pick at it. Allow the scab or dry skin to come off on its own. This is very important. If scabs come off prematurely, the pigment may come off with them.
The complete healing process takes about 4-6 weeks, at which time the true color of your brows is evident. During this process, your permanent makeup will soften and lighten. Be patient even if you think too much color has been lost, as your skin is still regenerating and naturally exfoliating.

FAQ
SHOULD I DO BOTOX BEFORE OR AFTER MICROBLADING?

Botox should be done AFTER. Your doctor will be able to determine where to place Botox injections without altering the brow position. Should you decide to cease Botox treatments, brows will settle at the original balanced position.

CAN I HAVE A CHEMICAL PEEL OR LASER TREATMENT BEFORE MICROBLADING?

Avoid chemical peels or laser treatments at least 4 weeks before your microblading or microshading procedure. These treatments can make your skin thinner and more sensitive, resulting in more bleeding, which can affect color retention. Wait 4 weeks after microblading or microshading before doing chemical peels or laser treatments to allow your brows to fully heal.

SHOULD I TINT MY EYEBROWS BEFORE MICROBLADING?
If you normally tint your brows, do so a week before your treatment. Remember that your brows will also be darker than usual immediately after the treatment. After your treatment, you should wait at least 3 weeks.
